Double Triumph for Arabkir at the Khachik Asmaryan Youth Championship 2026

The Khachik Asmaryan Armenian Youth Volleyball Championship officially concluded in Yerevan on May 20th. The final day delivered high-stakes drama, incredible rallies, and exceptional performances from the country's brightest young talents.

It was a historic day for Arabkir, as both their boys' and girls' teams captured the championship titles!

• Girls' Division: In an epic 5-set thriller, Arabkir defeated Ajapnyak with a close 3:2 score to claim the gold. HMMSD (ՀՄՄԴ) secured 3rd place after defeating XMOMM in the bronze medal match.
• Boys' Division: The final match was equally intense. Arabkir took an early 2-set lead, but team Nor-Norq fought back valiantly to level the score. Ultimately, Arabkir showed incredible resilience in the deciding 5th set to win the match and the championship trophy.

At the closing ceremony, the winning teams were awarded medals and cups. Special individual prizes were handed out to the "Best Players" of the tournament, and the referees and organizing committee were also honored for their excellent work.
