Tsaghkadzor Hosts the 2026 Republic of Armenia Snow Volleyball Championship

The Armenian Snow Volleyball Championship for men and women concluded today in the Tsakhkahovit city of Tsaghkadzor, showcasing the high level of athleticism and the growing popularity of this winter discipline.

The tournament featured two distinct formats to ensure a high level of competition:

  • The Men's Division was played in a comprehensive round-robin system, testing the endurance and consistency of every team against all opponents.
  • The Women's Division followed a structured group stage with three subgroups, leading into high-stakes semifinal and final rounds.

Throughout the event, the atmosphere was charged with competitive spirit as teams battled through the winter conditions. In the Men’s category, Yerevan SC emerged as the undefeated champions, followed by Nor-Nork in second place and Soft in third.

In the Women’s category, Yerevan SC secured the title with a dominant 2:0 match record throughout the tournament. BSU (Brusov State University) took home the silver, while Ajapnyak finished third.

To honor the achievements of the participants, the winning teams were presented with medals and trophies. Recognizing the importance of supporting local athletes, the Volleyball Federation of Armenia (VFA) also awarded significant prize pools for the top three placements in both divisions:

  • 1st Place: 150,000 AMD
  • 2nd Place: 90,000 AMD
  • 3rd Place: 60,000 AMD
